In the Safety & Privacy → Privacy section, you control how visible your profile is on the platform and whether it can be found outside the platform – for example, through search engines. These settings are especially important if you want to decide for yourself whether your profile should be publicly findable or if you want to completely hide it temporarily.

The following options are available to you:

SEO (Search Engine Indexing)

If you enable SEO, you allow your profile to be indexed by search engines. This means: your profile can potentially also be found via search engines (e.g. if someone searches for your name or relevant terms). If you disable this option, your profile is generally not made available for indexing by search engines.

Show as listing

With this option, you decide whether your profile should be visible in the listings overview. If enabled, your profile can be displayed as a listing within the platform – this makes it easier to be discovered and reach more visitors. If disabled, your profile will not appear in the listings overview.

Hide profile

With "Hide profile" you can make your profile completely invisible within the platform.

• If you enable this option, your profile will no longer be displayed on the platform and will not be visible to other users.
• If you disable the option, your profile will be visible again as normal (depending on the other visibility settings).
