If you decide to delete a profile, it is important to know: this step is final and cannot be undone. After completion of the deletion, all personal data, content, and all information linked to the profile will be largely and permanently removed from our system. This includes, for example, profile content, settings, uploaded content, and all assignments directly tied to the profile.
Which data remains temporarily stored?
Excluded from deletion are exclusively data that are legally or technically required. This includes in particular:
- Login data
- Username
- Registered email address
These data are stored for a period of 6 months due to legal retention obligations and are then deleted completely.
Important note on services and payments
Please note: Services already provided or payments made cannot be offset or refunded. The use of the profile ends permanently with the deletion of the profile, without any subsequent claims arising.
Which profiles will be deleted?
Before you confirm the deletion, an overview will be shown indicating which profiles are specifically affected. This allows you to check once more before the final step whether everything is correctly selected.
Confirmation via code (security check)
To prevent a profile from being deleted accidentally, you must additionally confirm the process: You will receive a confirmation code on the page, which you must enter into an input field. Only when this code has been entered correctly can you complete the deletion.
If you are unsure whether you really want to delete, it is advisable to cancel the process at this point – because after confirmation, the deletion can no longer be undone.
